Think you can't sing? Think again!Join Caribbean Voices Australia, a choir initiative of CaribVic, for a fun, welcoming and interactive singing workshop led by acclaimed choir leader and vocal coach Stella Savy.
Whether you're an experienced singer or someone who only sings in the shower, this workshop is designed to help you discover your voice in a supportive and inclusive environment. Through practical exercises and group singing, you'll build confidence, connect with others and experience the joy of singing together.
During the workshop, participants will explore:
Breathing techniques for stronger, more supported singing
Vocal warm-ups to improve tone, range and vocal confidence
Harmony singing and how to blend effectively within a choir
Rhythm and phrasing techniques commonly used in Caribbean music
Stella brings more than 30 years of experience as a professional musician, choir leader and community arts facilitator. Her warm and engaging approach creates a space where everyone feels comfortable to participate, learn and grow.
