Social Media 101 for Chapel Street Traders
About
A practical beginner's guide to building your business on social media
Feeling overwhelmed by social media? Not sure what to post, how often to post, or which platforms are worth your time?
This 90-minute workshop is designed specifically for local traders and small businesses looking to improve their social media presence with simple, practical strategies that can be implemented straight away.
With a strong focus on Instagram, we'll explore how local businesses can create engaging content, attract more customers, and build confidence online without spending hours every week creating content.
We'll also discuss where platforms such as Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn fit into your overall marketing mix, helping you understand which channels are most relevant for your business.
The session will also cover how traders can work alongside the Chapel Street Precinct's Digital Marketing Officer to maximise exposure through precinct marketing channels. You'll learn how to get involved in content opportunities, share your business stories, collaborate on campaigns, and make the most of being featured across the Chapel Street Precinct's social media platforms.
Participants will leave with actionable tips, content ideas, and a clearer understanding of how to create social media content consistently without feeling overwhelmed.
