2026 Justine's Lunch
About
Welcome to Justine's Lunch 2026.Justine's Lunch was established in 2024 following the passing of Justine Shelley-Whyte on 4 February 2024 after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Justine was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 and responded well to treatment. Sadly, the cancer returned in November 2023, when she was diagnosed with two brain tumours and Stage 4 breast cancer. Despite her incredible determination, positivity and strength, Justine passed away surrounded by family and friends.
Justine's Lunch brings together family, friends, colleagues and the wider community to celebrate her life and legacy. The afternoon is designed to be a balance of remembrance, connection, laughter and generosity, while supporting causes that were deeply important to Justine.
Funds raised from the event will support:
• Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA)
• The Justine Shelley-Whyte Legacy Fund
Guests will enjoy a three-course meal, fundraising activities, raffles, auction items and entertainment throughout the afternoon.
We are delighted to welcome one of Australia's most respected broadcasters and event hosts, Hamish McLachlan, as our Special Guest Speaker for 2026. Hamish will share stories from his remarkable career in sport and media in what promises to be an entertaining and engaging conversation.
