YOGA + ANIMAL FLOW at Climb West Melbourne
About
Hi there, my name is Korina and I have had over 10 years experience as a strength and conditioning coach. I also have a strong passion for bodyweight movement such as Animal Flow, Yoga and now Climbing! My approach to coaching in a class setting comes with understanding briefly about your history and adapting my attention and guidance to how you move as an individual.
Taking time out for your body I believe should be a time for reflection, adaptation and progression in the best way that suits you. I am there to help you check in with your body, to help you honor where you are at and to assist you in progressing with patience and awareness.
I make space for mistakes, playfulness and all the questions to help you feel safe, comfortable and yourself.
Vinyasa yoga is a coherent practice where movement is linked with breath, creating a space for safety and presence and then a continuous, mindful sequence from one posture to the next. The approach is with a slower and intentional pace. The focus is not on perfection or performance, but on learning to explore your own range of movement, with challenge and ease to open, strengthen and stabilise in your mind and body.
Animal Flow is a ground-based movement practice that combines elements of strength, mobility, and coordination through fluid, animal-inspired patterns. In my sessions, the focus is less on mastering complex shapes and more on exploring how your body moves as a whole, building body awareness, control, and resilience in a playful and supportive way. It’s an opportunity to reconnect with natural movement, develop strength in mind and body whilst moving with curiosity rather than pressure.
