Meerkat Productions are back again ahead of Book Week 2026, celebrating with an adaptation of Dear Broccoli by Jo Dabrowski and Cate James. This laugh-out-loud, high-energy story is told through a series of hilarious letters between a determined broccoli-hating boy, Frank, and one very polite (and surprisingly persuasive) piece of broccoli.Kindergarten to Year 3 students and teachers are invited to join us at Maitland Town Hall for this engaging and curriculum-based experience that promises fun for all! For schools registered to attend, additional curriculum resources will be provided, alongside a copy of the text.
We also will support your students in walking away on the day with their very own library card, helping to ensure they have access to not only your school library, but the community libraries around Maitland.
Join us as we welcome Meerkat Productions back in 2026 for a morning of literary fun.
