You're invited to Long Jetty’s newest community space on Mondays for Mindful Movement Qigong on Mondays with Mel starting Monday 8th June from 5pm - 6pm $22pp including a nourishing cuppa tea!

Combining gentle breathwork, grounding techniques, flowing movement, mindfulness, meditation & so much more... including tuning into Nature's wisdom with Seasonal Support.

Winter is the time to retreat, repair, nourish & nurture, being the peak of Yin energy. Give yourself the support it needs as you soothe your nervous system & lovingly open to receive what you truly need. Qigong is brilliant for your self-care!

Intentionally choose easy embodied methods that deeply support your Wholistic Wellbeing In Harmony Mind+Body+Energy+Soul+Nature using Ancient therapies as your Medicine. Qigong comprises easy yet sacred practices which are more Yin than Tai Chi & is easier than yoga. Simple to try yet so restorative for your overall self-care.

IT'S YOUR TIME TO RETREAT INTO INNER CALM THIS WINTER.

No experience/equipment needed - easy as! Low impact.
BYO Water, Throw & Meditation Cushion if you prefer. Chairs & some cushions available.
Wear loose comfy layers, supple shoes & socks.
Please arrive at 4:50pm to enjoy a pre-cuppa before our session together & especially for those who haven't been before to complete your Registration Form.

WHAT IS QIGONG?
Qigong weaves together gentle sacred flowing Movements, Breathwork, Meditation, & slow intentional embodiment practices, alongside supportive lifestyle techniques. Practised in synergy, these calm the mind, regulate emotions, & relax the body & nervous system, empowering you to release old, stagnant energy (Qi). This invites in a state of coherence, flow, & deeper Harmony.

WHO IS MEL?
Mel discovered Qigong in 2016 during her recovery from a diagnosis of Breast Cancer & has since trained with Master Simon Blow in Australia & China. Experiencing profound benefits to her health, wellbeing, Mel has developed a deep passion for sharing this beautiful Holistic therapy to support & empower others. As a certified Qigong Teacher, Mel's service is to provide you with holistic self-empowering soothing tools, sacred wisdom, positive inspiration, a calming space to reconnect + shared community so you too can transform your wellbeing & thrive through life. Together, we'll explore sacred holistic Chinese Medicine Qigong composed of intentionally designed energetic alignment, flowing movements, rebalancing, self-regulation & mindfulness techniques, breathing practices & various self-care embodiment tools that can support your path of restoration back to self to lighten your life & enhance your energy.

This workshop is open to all who are medically fit, independently mobile & can participate without assistance. Participants are encouraged to be aware of how they’re feeling during the practice & encouraged to rest as needed. In terms of physical exertion, Qigong is similar to walking.
