Join us to hear from historian Dr Nonja Peters about the Dutch migrant children who were evacuated to Fairbridge Farm in Pinjarra following WWII. Nonja will also share the story of Ella Bone, a Red Cross volunteer and Claremont resident, who supported these children as they rehabilitated and waited to be reunited with their families. Ella went on to become a Wing Commander in the Royal Australian Airforce.FREE event with morning tea and chats after the talk.
