Performed entirely as a continuous solo journey, this concert weaves together traditional Persian and Arabic musical forms, spontaneous improvisation (taqsim), and rhythmic compositions drawn from centuries-old musical traditions. Throughout the evening, you will hear expressive improvisations in maqam and dastgah traditions such as Bayati, Shour, Hijaz, Rast and Homayoun, alongside selected instrumental compositions ranging from meditative and reflective to intricate and virtuosic.
