As Palestinian Christians in Australia, we are deeply committed to amplifying the voices of our community, sharing our enduring faith, and building bridges of solidarity across the region. It is in this spirit of shared purpose that we are proud to support our friends across the Tasman for a profoundly important upcoming event.This national tour is proudly sponsored and funded by the National Council of Churches Australia (NCCA). The Sydney event is sponsored and hosted by Parramatta Community Uniting Church (PCUC) and Parramatta for Palestine.
How should we, as a community of faith and conscience, respond to the ongoing violence and injustice in the Holy Land?
This July, Palestinian Christians in Australia invites you to a profound and deeply necessary conversation. We are privileged to host Dr. Yousef Khoury for a national speaking tour titled "Bearing Witness: Palestinian Christian Voices from the Holy Land."
Meet Dr. Yousef Khoury
Dr. Khoury is a Christian Palestinian theologian who was raised in Gaza, where his family still remains. He brings a vital, lived perspective to the intersection of faith, justice, and peacebuilding.
He currently serves as:
Academic Dean & Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies at Bethlehem Bible College.
Steering Committee Member for Christ at the Checkpoint.
Board Member of Kairos Palestine.
Through his unique lens as both a leading scholar and a son of Gaza, Dr. Khoury will guide us through the complex realities on the ground, offering a powerful perspective on what true solidarity, justice, and peace look like today.
