Join Hallett Group for an engaging Work Health and Safety Mock Trial at the Mawson Lakes Hotel.Based on a workplace forklift incident scenario, this interactive session will provide attendees with a practical understanding of how WHS matters are examined in a court setting. Witnesses will be called and cross-examined, allowing participants to observe legal processes firsthand and gain insight into key workplace safety and compliance considerations.
Topics covered will include defense and prosecution conduct, legal professional privilege, witness examination and cross-examination, and general court procedures.
Guests are invited to arrive from 1:30pm for a 2:00pm–3:30pm session, followed by an afternoon tea and networking opportunity with industry peers.
As places are limited, early registration is recommended.
