About
Adam Corrigan from Your Energy Friend will help us confidently discuss energy bills and help people reduce their energy use and increase the thermal comfort of their properties. Council is happy to provide a targeted workshop for your members, but this training will prepare you for those casual ad hoc conversations so you can give them some basic information and tell them where to find more.The training will cover:
- Understanding energy bills, tariffs and EnergyMadeEasy.gov.au
- Basic Energy Efficiency 101 for renters and owners
- Options for longer-term savings through solar, building insulation etc
- Answers to common questions.
The session will include morning tea, and the room will be heated.
FREE to committees, staff and volunteers of community agencies and organisations.
