Baby Series: The Power of Play (Forrestfield)
About
Supporting your child's intellectual, emotional, social and physical development.Play is an essential activity for all children. It gives them the opportunity to develop imagination, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills. But, what does play look like in everyday life and how as parents can we set the scene for a healthy and age appropriate play environment?
This workshop will inform parents on the value of play and different, creative ways to interact with their child to support their development.
The Baby Series at Woodlupine Family Centre includes five workshops designed to support parents and caregivers through the early years: All About Sleep, Raising Babies and Toddlers in a Digital World, Let's Talk Toddlers, The Power of Play, and Mindfulness and Self-Compassion. Families are welcome to attend individual workshops or register for the full series to gain practical information, strategies, and support across a range of topics that promote children's development, wellbeing, and positive family relationships.
