WIZO Children’s Holiday Program: ZAHALKAWORLD Artmaking at the Jewish Museum of Australia
Explore ZAHALKAWORLD: an artist’s archive and step inside the creative world of photographer Anne Zahalka.
Inspired by Zahalka’s playful approach to photography, collage and storytelling, children will create their own postcard using cutting, layering, colour and imagination.
Children are invited to write to the children and teenagers at WIZO Ahuzat Yeladim, a special home and school in Israel for young people who have faced difficult challenges. Through drawings, messages and thoughtful words, their creations can let another child know they are not alone and bring a smile, hope and encouragement.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
