Young Engineers club is an after-school Lego Engineering program at Rochedale State School for PP-YR6 students running weekly on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. Young Engineers offers unique STEM programs where children have fun while learning critical skills for the digital age.
In this program, students design and build a wide range of motorised models. Through these hands-on projects, they explore key STEM concepts such as forces, motion, symmetry, lift and drag, and robotics, while also developing coding skills using LEGO®-based prototypes. By connecting these concepts to real-world machines, the program builds problem-solving skills, creativity, and confidence in STEM.
