About
Building athletic skills, confidence and a love of movementAthletic Allstars is a fun and engaging session designed to help young athletes develop the fundamental skills needed for athletics and sport. Through a variety of running, jumping, throwing and movement-based activities, athletes build confidence, coordination and athletic ability in a supportive environment.
With athletes ranging from Kindy to Year 6, sessions are carefully adapted to suit different ages, abilities and stages of development. Activities are regularly differentiated and athletes may be grouped according to age or experience to ensure everyone is appropriately challenged and supported.
Athletes will develop:
- Speed, agility and coordination
- Running, jumping and throwing skills
- Balance, body awareness and movement efficiency
- Confidence and resilience
- Teamwork and sportsmanship
- A lifelong love of movement and physical activity
Sessions are designed to be active, inclusive and enjoyable while helping athletes build strong foundations for athletics, cross country and a wide range of other sports.
Suitable for: Athletes aged 6–12 years.
Cost: $175.50 for 9 week term inc GST
Time: 7.30am - 8.30am
Location: Killarney Heights Oval
