About
‘Joe’s Connected Gardens’ has been a long term supporter of our homeschool community, generously running a weekly group for homeschoolers.Joe now has dedicated teen group for young people who are ready to take on more serious projects in the Connected Gardens.
Teens will have the opportunity to work on projects, including helping build and maintain garden spaces, propagating plants, caring for food crops and contributing to community projects. The focus is on practical gardening skills, teamwork, responsibility and making a genuine contribution.
This group is not insured and people will attend at own risk.
The teen group is:
🍊 Strictly for ages 13+
🍋 Fortnightly during term time
🐣 Wednesdays, 10 am–1 pm
🧭 Elizabeth Grove location
🍓FREE, any donations towards the community garden are greatly appreciated.
🌱Capped at 6 teens, plus a couple of parent helpers
Drop-and-go is okay, as teens are expected to be independent enough to participate. However, parent helpers will also be needed to support the group.
