Featuring an all-McCluskey program, this concert showcases the breadth of his distinctive compositional voice, from intimate lyricism to vibrant rhythmic energy. Recently awarded a grant from the Grainger Museum, McCluskey has composed a major new suite for guitar quartet inspired by the life and works of Percy Grainger, reflecting his ongoing commitment to creating innovative and engaging repertoire for the guitar. Performed by one of Australia's leading guitar ensembles, this concert offers a unique opportunity to experience an entire program dedicated to a living Australian composer.Date
