Think cemeteries are just for the past? Think again!This Heritage Festival, step back in time to revive an early 1900s tradition: the cemetery picnic. Under this year’s theme of Change, we’re exploring how Darwin's history continues to shape who we are today.
What to expect:
🎙️ A Guided Intro: Consider past bereavement customs and local legends with Belinda Mawby.
🗺️ Self-Guided Wander: Stroll through selected graves at your own pace to meet the people who shaped Darwin.
🥪 Community Connection: Pack a picnic blanket and experience a historical social space reborn.
