T3, 26 - St. Anthony's CPS Advanced Eng and Robotics
About
2026 - Term 3 (29 July - 16 Sept, 2026 Wednesdays)Time 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM
Advaned Engineering and Robotics Club @ Science Room
Advanced Engineering & Robotics education can help students learn about technology and its applications to solve real-world problems. Through project-based learning, students use hardware, Lego® compatible building blocks, and coding to create prototypes and explore viable solutions to real-world issues. These projects aim to develop students' problem-solving abilities and boost their confidence to overcome challenges they may face in their future careers or solving global problems.
During Term 3, 2026, Advanced Builds students will explore All on Wheels Engineering, creating innovative models that combine mechanical systems with coding and automation. Students will code and control motors using touch switches, ultrasonic sensors, buzzers, and joysticks to create interactive and responsive vehicle-based projects. They will learn key concepts including gear transmission, speed reduction and multiplication systems, and motion control, while developing advanced coding skills to make their models react to user input and environmental changes. These hands-on projects will build strong problem-solving, engineering, and STEM skills in an engaging and exciting way.
The course aims to introduce students to the practical and theoretical aspects of technology, software engineering, math, and entrepreneurship.
