The Story of Kathmandu is a curated degustation experience that reimagines traditional Nepali cuisine through modern technique, seasonal Australian produce, and refined plating. Each course draws influence from Nepalese culinary traditions — where bold spices, ancient grains, fermented elements, and slow cooking have shaped food culture for centuries.
Across multiple courses, guests will experience a progression of dishes built around premium ingredients such as yellowfin tuna, free-range duck, grass-fed beef, fresh local fish, and house-made fermented and spiced elements. Every dish is thoughtfully designed to highlight texture, balance, and depth while remaining true to its cultural roots.
To complete the experience, each course is paired with carefully selected local and international wines that enhance the flavour profile and elevate the journey.
