The Optus Veterans' Challenge Tournament 2026 is a premier charity boxing event hosted by the Australian Commando Association ACT, in partnership with Boxing Australia ACT and RSL Active.

Held at the Hellenic Club Canberra, this inspiring evening showcases the dedication, resilience and camaraderie of participants who have committed themselves to months of training in preparation for fight night.

The Veterans' Challenge Program encourages veterans to improve their physical wellbeing, build social connections, and challenge themselves in a supportive and inclusive environment. Participants come from diverse military and first responder backgrounds, with varying levels of boxing experience, including many who are stepping into the ring for the very first time.

More than a night of competitive boxing, this event raises vital funds to support Special Forces veterans and their families within the Canberra region through programs that promote connection, wellbeing and ongoing support.

Guests can expect an exciting evening of amateur boxing, entertainment, and community spirit while helping make a meaningful difference to those who have served our nation.
