Join us for the return of the traditional Scandinavian folk musicians of Vetter og villskap (‘Spirits and wildness’). Following up from a successful concert in 2024 of genre-blending and -bending conversations between Scandinavian Folk, Americana and an occasional touch of Eastern influences. They are a multi-instrumental duo who play banjo, dulcimer and fiddle amongst other instruments.This performance features music and stories about demons, trolls and the Devil, as well as somewhat lighter tunes, from the hills and dales of northern Scandinavia and beyond. In this music of mysterious spirit beings, farmers, sailors and travelling musicians, there will be the dark, the delightful, the quirky and the quaint – and combinations thereof.
