Learn essential skills for safely handling, preparing, and storing food to prevent contamination and food-borne illnesses. This training is ideal for individuals seeking employment in food outlets or kitchen environments.
Upon successful completion participants receive a:
- Statement of Attainment in SITXFSA005 Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety
You'll learn:
- How to follow hygiene procedures and identify food hazards
- How to report any personal health issues
- Prevention food contamination
- Prevention of cross-contamination by washing hands
This course will be delivered by Jesuit Community College.
Fee: $20
Once registered, Brimbank Learning Futures will provide you a link to complete a compulsory enrolment form for Jesuit Community College
