So you’re interested in surgery, but everyone keeps telling you that you need research?They’re probably right, but there’s no need to panic – UWASS is launching a brand-new Surgical Research Night to help point you in the right direction!
Join us for an evening of presentations from some of WA’s leading surgeon-researchers across a range of surgical specialties. Our speakers will discuss why research is so important in modern surgical careers, share some of the exciting projects they’ve worked on, and impart their wisdom on navigating the path to surgical training. This will be followed by a casual networking session over food and drinks, giving you the chance to meet like-minded students and ask the speakers anything you’d like to know about surgery, research, and career progression.
Whether you’re already involved in research or have no idea where to start, come along, ask questions, make connections, and discover how research can help shape your future in surgery!
