Sat 4 July: Songwriters In the Round - Live in the Loft @Dunkirk Hotel

Songwriters: David Delves, Tessa Cole, Ilya Budovsky, Martin Lakeland

The idea is to have 3 or 4 songwriters, all on stage, playing one song at a time, so each will get to play maybe 6 songs in total.

David Delves
David Delves is a Sydney singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who writes in Blues, Rock and Pop idioms.
He crafts his lyrics so they can stand alone as poems.
In 2001 he released his first solo acoustic album In the Belly of a Whale, playing all the instruments.
In 2011 he released Down By Harbour Lights with his band The Welcome Strangers and played in pubs and clubs around New South Wales.
Sydney and the harbour often provide backdrops to his songs.

Tessa Cole
Tessa is a singing guitarist who began writing songs as a child, and picking up the craft as a hobby. Her many professional releases are on streaming platforms and a collection of unreleased original songs are on TikToc Tesse@414 and YouTube Tessa Cole@8030.
Tess sings lots of covers to in genres folk country and pop and has learned from these greats! Her background in choirs makes her a good team player.

Ilya Budovsky
Ilya Budovsky is the lead guitarist, songwriter and singer for Five Degrees of Freedom https://www.facebook.com/FiveDegreesofFreedom/. He also enjoys performing solo, supported by his versatile guitar playing. Ilya’s songs - sometimes complex but always easy to lessen to - are defined by their originality, optimism and high musical standard.

Martin Lakeland
I am a songwriter from Sydney and my songs could probably be described as acoustic ballads. I write about things that interest me - human relations, places I've been to, things I've done, the environment, space and other things.
