The Art of Making and Serving Cacao in Right Relationship
About
For many of us, cacao has become a beautiful and accessible plant ally. We may enjoy it quietly at home, share it with loved ones, or incorporate it into the spaces we hold for others. But beyond the recipe lies a deeper question:
How might we work with cacao in a way that honours ourselves, each other, and the living world?
This interactive workshop explores the practical and energetic preparation of cacao through the lens of Right Relationship.
Together we will explore:
🌿 Sourcing cacao with care and integrity.
🌿 Preparing ourselves and our space.
🌿 Ingredients and brewing practices.
🌿 Intention and presence.
🌿 Honouring the spirit of cacao.
🌿 Energetic awareness and discernment.
🌿 Sharing cacao with others respectfully and safely.
I'll prepare cacao live during our gathering and share insights gathered from over twelve years of working with this beautiful plant medicine. I'll also introduce blue lotus and discuss how I incorporate it into my own ceremonial practice.
There will be time for questions and conversation, and participants will have the opportunity to purchase a small amount of ceremonial cacao and blue lotus after the workshop.
