The Exhibits are a “supergroup quartet” (CityMag) co-led by guitarist James Muller and bassist Lyndon Gray. Following their critically acclaimed 2025 debut release, the group is excited to be launching their new album at Cross St Music Hall on July 10. With saxophonist Tom Noonan deftly twinning with Muller’s guitar and drummer Tim Firth energetically propelling the music, this performance promises scintillating solos, rich harmonies and compelling rhythmic inventions.
Tom Noonan will also be performing a set of his own music with his trio featuring the brilliant guitar playing of Django Rowe and the outstanding Melbourne bass player James Gilligan. A fantastic opportunity to catch Noonan in this intimate format with a trio of heightened synchronicity and great sonic depth.
