NAIDOC Week Cartooning Workshop
with Tony Thorne
Tony is an acclaimed animator, illustrator and visual artist, best known as the creative lead on the hugely popular cartoon series, LITTLE J and BIG CUZ.
A Trawlwoolway man from the Briggs/Johnson family, Tony grew up on the north west coast of Lutruwita.
Join Tony for this FREE one hour workshop and cover the fundamentals of visual storytelling, character design and cartooning techniques. All materials supplied.
This workshop is part of NAIDOC week celebrations at TMAG.
Following the workshop, participants can view an episode of LITTLE J and BIG CUZ on the main screen in TMAG’s Central Gallery.

Patron Advice: Parents or guardians should only book a place for their child. Please note the age recommendation. We can’t accept bookings for children 7 years or under. Parents and guardians are welcome to leave children for the duration of the workshop but must remain within the museum during this time.
