Wagga Wagga Hindu Temple warmly invites you and your family to celebrate Guru Purnima, a sacred occasion dedicated to honouring our Gurus and expressing gratitude for their wisdom, guidance, and blessings.The evening will begin with Ganesh Puja, followed by Guru Abhishekam, a revered ritual where sacred offerings are made to the Guru Murthy while Vedic prayers are chanted.
Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about the significance of the Guru in Hindu tradition, understand why Gurus play such an important role in our spiritual and personal lives, and explore the meaning and importance of celebrating Guru Purnima.
The program will also include Panchamrutam, Ashtottara Archana (108 names of the Guru), and Pushpanjali, where devotees offer flowers as a symbol of devotion and gratitude.
The celebration will conclude with Mahaprasad (community dinner), providing an opportunity for fellowship, cultural connection, and strengthening our Hindu community in Wagga Wagga.
