Piano: Jacquelyn Koh
Classical Guitar: Majid Amani

Pianist Jacquelyn Koh and classical guitarist Majid Amani bring their passion for chamber music into a newly formed duo dedicated to performing forgotten masterpieces of classical music.

In this concert, they perform a selection of rarely performed works, selected through extensive research, alongside familiar standards of the repertoire. Malaysian-born pianist Li Qing Koh (Jacquelyn) is an active soloist, collaborative pianist, and educator, with a particular passion for chamber music. She holds a Master of Music (performance) from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where she studied with leading Australian concert pianists, including Professor Gerard Willems AM and Lyall Duke.

Jacquelyn has performed and collaborated with musicians across Malaysia, Australia, and Indonesia, and appeared at the Southeast Asia Music Exchange (SEAMEX) in 2019, where she presented her research on musical instrument performance enhancement. Jacquelyn's recent performances include appearances in the Women's Club Friday "Women in Concert" series, where she performed piano duet repertoire. Alongside her performance career, Jacquelyn is a dedicated Kodály educator. As a chamber musician, she enjoys exploring a wide range of repertoire and regularly collaborates with fellow artists in recital performances.
