This session, delivered by the Library Scholarly Communication team, will equip you with the essential skills to effectively manage and maximise the value of your research data.You will learn why research data management is a critical part of responsible research practice, and how data is created and handled across the research lifecycle.
The session covers key requirements from funders, publishers, and Edith Cowan University, and provides practical strategies you can apply immediately. Topics include best practices for organising, documenting, storing, and sharing data, as well as managing AI-generated content and emerging technologies, with an emphasis on transparency and prompt management.
This 1.5-hour session also allows time for questions and discussion, giving you the opportunity to engage with the topic and explore issues relevant to your own research practice.
