This months Lunch and Learn will be presented by Professor Bep Uink.Bep is a Noongar woman and social and emotional wellbeing researcher. Bep's research spans the impact of digital technology on family dynamics, Aboriginal LGBTQA+SB young peoples' wellbeing, and racism and allyship for Aboriginal adolescents.
Bep will be presenting findings from an initial evaluation of the Pride Yarns program. The program is an intergenerational, yarning-based support program which brings Aboriginal LGBTQA+ LGBTQA+ young people together with Noongar Elders to increase acceptance and celebration of LGBTQA+SB identities within our community.
These monthly gatherings are hosted by Elder Dr Nan Roma Winmar.
