Axes Quartet - OTHER PLACES, OTHER TIMES….
Shannon Ebeling, Niels Bijl, Sara Beale,
Michael Lichnovsky
A program built around Maurice Ravel’s Tombeau de Couperin,
this program explores how music has so often been composed
as a direct reflection of the state of the world the composers
found themselves in. From tragedy to reflection, music was
often centered around a strong need to comment on society.
