This session, delivered by the Library Scholarly Communication team, guides researchers in selecting the most appropriate journal for their work, including how to identify and avoid predatory publishers.It introduces different open access models - gold, green, and hybrid - and explains how to check whether a journal is included in Read & Publish agreements to help avoid publication fees.
The session also explores the use of Author Accepted Manuscripts (AAMs) as a practical way to share research openly where possible.
