Introduction to Lead Lighting

Discover the timeless art of stained-glass in this hands-on Introduction to Lead Lighting workshop, held over the two weekend days, July 25th and 26th, starting at 9am to 4pm.Materials and instruction will be provided to make your own sample piece from setting up your board, cutting glass, leading up, soldering, cementing and polishing the finished piece, with tips & tricks, and safety information along the way.
We also welcome previous participants of this course at a reduced cost of $130, please bring along the piece you are working on and get support and direction to continue on your leadlight creative journey.
PLEASE NOTE: The cost includes the materials for the sampler. Participants are expected to procure/buy their own tools which will be explained during the first session – so you don’t need to buy them until you understand what you need. Toolkits (valued at approximately $250 new) can be shared between friends if you’re attending together, and we’re happy to assist with purchasing both glass and toolkits.
No experience necessary
No refunds, but credit may be offered for illness or other valid reasons.
