Welcome to DSIG Basic Surgical Skills Workshop 2026Date: Monday 6th July
Location: Geelong Clinical School - HERB Level 1
This event is aimed at preclinical students and it is a fantastic introduction into surgical skills, but all year levels are welcome.
Come on down to practice and learn new surgical skills from Barwon Health Surgical Staff.
There will be 2 sessions each with a capacity of 30 students each:
Session 1: 5:30-6:20
Dinner: 6:20-6:40
Session 2: 6:40-7:30
Each session will include 2 stations:
-Basic Suturing Skills
-Knot Tying
Dinner will be provided
