The British comedy is based on the true story exploring the women's movement that led to significant law reform. A strike by Ford sewing machinists in 1968, saw women workers protest against sexual discrimination and demand for equal pay. The film stars include Sally Hawkins, Rosamund Pike, Bob Hoskins, and Miranda Richardson.The evening is primarily one of our “16 Days of Activism” campaign activities; raising awareness against gender-based violence.
