We are so glad you found us.The Festival of Stories is more than an event, it is an investment in community, connection, creativity, culture and regional identity.
We believe it is critical festivals are community-led and community-owned to truly reflect the values, passions and voices of the region.
Every great grassroots movement relies on a sustainable foundation, and our Friends of the Festival framework is intentionally designed to ensure passionate members of our community at every level can play a special part. Whether you want to champion our local economy, elevate regional tourism, or simply ensure our towns’ stories are heard and preserved forever, we are inviting people to invest in the arts and cultural future of our beloved river twin towns, Echuca Moama.
We want to provide a program to support local creatives and encourage community participation by making arts and culture more affordable and more accessible for people living in and visiting EM. But to do that we need the financial support of the local community, which is why we have launched a Festival of Stories Founding Friends Program, so locals who are passionate about arts and culture in Echuca Moama can contribute and participate in whatever capacity is possible for them. Every contribution, large or small helps shape the festival content, bring outstanding artists and storytellers to our region, and create lasting cultural, community, and tourism benefits for Echuca Moama.
