More about Michael...
Michael's passion for guitar began at age six, inspired by his father's love of music and artists such as The Shadows. After initially training as a cabinet maker, he pursued music full-time and, in 1991, joined Hugh Wilson's band following Wilson's Star Search victory, leading to national touring, recording and television appearances.
Over a career spanning more than 35 years, Michael has established himself as one of Australia's most respected session guitarists, performing and recording with numerous Australian and international artists. His credits include 15 years as house guitarist for The Voice Australia, along with performances alongside artists such as Keith Urban, Lionel Richie, Kylie Minogue, Seal, Rita Ora, Ricky Martin and many others.
Michael has been recognised internationally for his playing, including being featured in Guitar Player USA magazine's "Editor's Top 8 MySpace Players", voted among Australia's top guitarists by Guitarist Australia magazine, and appearing on the cover of Poland's leading guitar publication, Gitazysta. Alongside his performing career, he has spent more than a decade presenting guitar masterclasses, clinics and workshops across Australia, while continuing to record and release his own music.

Jeremy Barnes is widely recognised as one of Australia's most accomplished and respected guitarists, earning international recognition for his extraordinary technical ability, versatility and musicianship. He has appeared in numerous guitar publications in Australia and overseas, including Guitar World (USA), where he was ranked equal 3rd in their list of the 50 Fastest Guitarists of All Time.
Throughout his career, Jeremy has performed, recorded and toured with an impressive range of Australian and international artists, including Thomas Lang, Marco Minnemann, Christine Anu, Rick Price, Sheppard, Brett Garsed and Casey Barnes, with whom he currently tours internationally. His extensive session work and collaborations have seen him perform alongside some of the world's leading musicians across rock, fusion, country and contemporary music.
An acclaimed recording artist in his own right, Jeremy has released both solo and collaborative projects, including his instrumental album ON and the critically praised ONE with fusion outfit Light Beyond Sleep. He is also an international clinician and endorsee for leading brands including Charvel, Fender and Positive Grid, regularly presenting sold-out masterclasses and clinics focused on technique, creativity and musical development.
Whether on stage, in the studio or the classroom, Jeremy continues to inspire musicians through his performances, teaching and ongoing commitment to musical excellence.
