Sourdough: Let’s celebrate!Come along for a fun, hands-on afternoon exploring new ways to use your sourdough starter, this time with a festive focus.
Participants will begin making a delicious sourdough star, which they will finish baking at home. It may look a little tricky at first, but you’ll be guided through the process in class and have the chance to sample one too.
During the session, we’ll also break into small groups to make a selection of delicious seasonal celebratory treats, which we’ll enjoy together at the end of the afternoon.
You’ll learn:
New ways to use your sourdough starter with a festive focus
How to begin and then build a delicious sourdough star
Useful sourdough basics along the way
Together, we’ll:

Enjoy tasting them together at the end of the afternoon
Good to know:
Some sourdough experience is helpful, but beginners are very welcome
This workshop is not focused on baking sourdough loaves
Before the class, participants will be contacted with details about what to expect and any simple equipment they’ll need to bring on the day,
such as a steel mixing bowl
