Villains are FUN.Sometimes though, the yay yes language of impro can trick us to avoid exploring truly villainous energies. We may be afraid of 'getting it wrong' or upsetting our scene partner. Not to mention a broader culture that trades smallness for safety.
The pressure to be 'nice' or 'fair' can be truly crippling.

Well, fuck that.
Villains are FUN.
So, let's get dark. Let's be outrageous narcissists. Let's issue scandalous parking tickets, poison someone's cordial and beat some orphans to death with a pool noodle.
The juice secret of playing villains is that the work is DEEPLY collaborative.
The workshop will explore :
- techniques for full bodied performance
- the value of emotional sounds
- ruthless presence and taking up space
- making the audience empathize
- how to lose a scene and love it
- the skill of playing the victim
