Superyou Therapy is launching a free 9-week peer support group for parents and caregivers of children aged 3-10 years old with developmental delay or disability, designed to provide a welcoming space to connect, share experiences, and feel understood.Key details:
π Location: Dome CafΓ©, Maylands 219-221 Railway Parade, Perth WA 6051
π Dates: 27 July β 21 September (9 sessions)
π₯ Time: 10:30am weekly on Mondays for 9 weeks
π₯ Group size: 6β12 participants
Group format:
- Peer-led by a parent facilitator with lived experience
- Supported behind-the-scenes by a therapist (not present in sessions)
- Weekly 90-minute sessions in a relaxed, community-based setting
- Focus on connection, shared experiences, and practical lived insights (not therapy)
Who itβs for:
- Parents, carers, and family members of children aged 3-10 years old
- No prior group experience required
- Preferably adults-only; infants can attend if needed
This is a pilot program, so participant feedback will be used to shape future group offerings.
