Conversations Matter - Cancer communication training

Conversations Matter is an evidence-based communication training program in regional cancer centres. It is run by local health professionals, who are trained facilitators. These sessions can help staff who interact with patients in any role to contribute to positive patient experiences.Topics include:
• Responding to High Emotion
• Building Effective Relationships
• Making an Effective Referral
• Supportive Care Screening
• Promoting Recall and Understanding
We warmly invite all clinical and non-clinical staff to attend, who would like to develop their skills and confidence in giving information to patients, families and carers.
