Join us as we gather to celebrate 150 years of the Anglican Mothers Union, remembering the vision and foresight of Mary Sumner.
Enjoy a delicious morning tea as we hear from three important speakers. Mary De Vries will share her 60 years of experience within the AMUA. Eleanor Mancini will talk about her experience of revitalizing the Cathedral branch. Debra Franks will outline her vision for the future.
There will be a display of historical AMUA items, publications, and pictures.
COST: FREE with a donation on the day to the Anglicare Homeless Youth Accommodation Project
PARKING: There will be no onsite parking available on the day
ABOUT THE ANGLICARE HOMELESS YOUTH ACCOMMODATION PROJECT
Every year, more than 28,000 young people across our state experience homelessness. That is a teenager without a safe place to sleep, or a young adult forced to choose between shelter and opportunity.
Anglicare believes that every young person deserves to come home to a positive living environment where they know they are cared for and where they feel safe and supported.
Anglicare’s Youth Homelessness Project features a modern build that is custom designed to support young people (aged 16-25) who are either experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, homelessness.
