Lourdes Hill College warmly invites you to join us for Jazz on the River, a vibrant afternoon showcasing incredible musical talent.
Set against the beautiful backdrop of our riverside campus, enjoy four hours of continuous live music, from intimate ensembles and vocal performances to powerful big bands, building to a spectacular massed finale on the river's edge. Featuring talented student musicians from Lourdes Hill College and Villanova College, this is an event not to be missed. Bring a picnic rug, relax with family and friends, and settle in for an afternoon of exceptional live music and community spirit.

Who Can Attend: This event is open to all members of the LHC & Villa communities, including Current and Future Families, Students, Staff, Past Pupils, Past Families and Friends of the Colleges.
Ticket Cost: Adult – $35 | Student – $20
Ticket Includes
- Four hours of live music
- Access to a grazing table throughout the afternoon
Beverages and raffle tickets will be available for purchase on the day.
Dress Code: Adults - Smart Casual | LHC Students - Smart casual attire in accordance with the College Code of Student Behaviour at Social Activities.

Performance Program
Chapter 1 - Soubirous Place | 1.00pm – 3.30pm
Enjoy continuous performances across two stages featuring the JMI Jazz Trio, our vocal program and a variety of small instrumental ensembles including Indigo Guitar, Flutopia, Intermezzo Strings, Quintet, Redemption and Trio.
The Transition - Wall of Stars | 3.30pm
Follow the Percussion Ensemble as they lead guests from Soubirous Place to the River Space.
River Space Finale | 3.30pm – 5.00pm
Experience an exciting finale featuring the Combined Villanova and Lourdes Hill College Strings, Kelly Band, Symphonic Band, Soul Sisters, Villanova Big Band and a spectacular massed big band performance to conclude the afternoon.
