About
The South East Bioregional Permaculture Convergence (SEBPCon 2026) is a three-day community gathering to be held over the weekend of 23-25th October 2026 at Mumbulla School, and BEND (Bega Environment and Neighbourhood Development) in the central location of Bega township.The event brings together permaculture practitioners, food producers, First Nations knowledge holders, and people interested in regenerative living across our broad bioregion— from Wollongong in the north, inland to Canberra, and south into Victoria.
The event will be shaped by those who are gathered, so bring your experience, curiosity and ideas to contribute to hands-on workshops, thoughtful discussions and collective learning.
The vision is a grassroots, low-cost, family-friendly convergence — grounded in this place, nourished by locally grown food, and run as a zero-waste event. Entry fees will cover costs only. Run in the spirit of early permaculture convergences: open, community-led, and energised by participation and volunteerism.
With three days of skill-sharing, two nights of accommodation and all meals included in your ticket, this event will be a time to connect, learn and play.
