1.5 Hour Acro Workshop with AcroWithChlo + add on Elite extension class available. July 9th.DANCE SENSATIONS - SHELLHARBOUR NSW
Junior: 11& under / beginner intermediate level: 10:00am - 11:30am July 9th
Senior: 12& over / intermediate advanced level: 11:45am - 1:15pm July 9th
ADVANCED extension add on session 1:15-2:15pm
These sessions are designed to develop strong acrobatics technique and foundations while helping every student progress their current skills. Students will be challenged at their own level, with opportunities to refine basics or push into more advanced tricks.
Students will work on:
• Tumbling technique
• Acro tricks & skill development
• Contortion elements
• Contemporary acro skills
• Strength & flexibility
~ Students will also learn how to connect skills into seamless combos, with both easier and more advanced options provided—so every dancer continues to grow.
⚠️ Prerequisites⚠️
💛 Junior 11& under or beginner - intermediate level: MUST be able to front or backward walkover (can be broken down, eg: back bend kick over) & cartwheel on both sides
💛 Senior 12& over or intermediate - advanced level: MUST be able to front and back walkover and learning or already can do aerials and back handsprings. If students is under 12years and wants to do advanced class they must be able to do aerial and backhandspring.
STUDENTS HAVE THE OPTION TO ATTED CHOSEN WORKSHOP BASED OFF AGE OR ABILITY, WHICH EVER THEY WOULD FEEL MOE COMFORTABLE IN. BUT MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM THE PREREQUISITES STATED ABOVE. !!!
❤️🔥 ELITE EXTENSION SESSION AVAILABLE ❤️🔥
1:15-2:15pm
For dancers ready to push even further, an exclusive extension session will follow the workshop. With a smaller group size, this class allows for more individual attention and the opportunity to refine elite-level skills.
Students will focus on advanced acro tricks such as:
• Back tucks & layouts
• Aerials
• Back handspring variations
• Advanced dance tricks (540s, raiz, tinsicas, helicopters & more)
This session is fast-paced and designed for experienced acro dancers ready to accelerate their progression.
⚠️ Extension Session Prerequisites- Any age !
• Must be able to perform an aerial and back handspring
OR
• If unable to aerial: must confidently perform a round-off back handspring on the floor
OR
• If unable to back handspring: must confidently perform both front and side aerials
❤️🔥 Spots for the extension session are limited to ensure quality coaching and maximum progress.
