Manjimup Bluegrass & OldTime Music Weekend, King’s Birthday Weekend, 25th-28th September, 2026.
It’s a unique music event held in the south west town of Manjimup. which focuses on learning new music skills,
The catchphrase “making music and making friends” has underpinned the event since it started in 2012 and the friendship circles keep growing as do the music groups and regular jam sessions.

It’s a bring your instrument music event and even if you’re not a crash hot player and or are not familiar with either genre, grab your instruments and come along and join the family! There’ll be workshops for you to take part in jams for you join and the Gospel SingOut at the RoundHouse Sunday morning and the Sunday evening Blackboard Concert provide performance opportunities for weekend ticket holders.

The weekend will get underway at 5.00pm in the Tall Timbers Brewery with meet and greet, registrations, and jamming. There’ll be workshops (and jamming) Saturday & Sunday, and the Feature Concert at Tall Timbers Brewery, followed by jamming.

This year we are very excited as since the first MBOTW in 2012, the interest in bluegrass and oldtime music has grown to such an extent in this state that this year we can showcase four West Australian Bluegrass/OldTime bands at our Saturday night feature concert! Details of bands to follow; make sure you’re at thre Tall Timbers Brewery to enjoy their music!
