This month for Weirdos Book Club we're reading Agnieszka Szpila's Hexes of the Deadwood Forest. A novel bout a woman who loses her job as an oil company CEO after she's filmed having sex with a tree in her sleep... Described as a 'torpedo of a book', this is a feminist, funny debut splintered between the modern day and Middle Ages. Both a "collective rebellion" and a "collective orgasm", we're not sure exactly where it belongs, except at Weirdos Book Club.Join us for an evening of discussion over a glass of wine (or something softer) in the bookshop. Whether you’re new to book club or a long-time regular, you’re warmly invited to dive into bonkers read.
