About
This weekend event combines a semester of classes into 2,5 days. You will learn about the history of the Tarot deck, Major Arcana and their symbolism, Tarot reversals, energies and symbolism of each of the Minor Arcana Suits and interpretation of Court Cards. The weekender will also incorporate reading practice including the Tarot Mastery Class helping you to use different spreads in different contexts and prepare for reading professionally. You will also participate in 3 meditation sessions guiding you through each of the Major Arcana cards and allowing you to experience their landscape and energy first hand.You will receive course materials and can purchase a Tarot deck to go with it.
The class is run by Dee-Ann Darkwood (Dee) from the Little Tarot Crucible who has been reading Tarot for over 25 years and teaching Tarot classes for over 7. She is also an active academic with 20 years of teaching experience. More at: www.thelittletarotcrucible-canberra.com
The course includes around 25 hours of instruction plus meditation. Upon completion you will have a good understanding of the Tarot deck, will learn how to use appropriate spreads adjusted to the situation, design your own spreads and have a good preparation for reading professionally.
Tentative program:
Friday - 5pm-9pm: Introduction, Major Arcana, Meditation Part I
Saturday - 9am-8pm: Reversals, Suit of Cups, Suit of Pentacles, Suit of Wands, Meditation II
Sunday - 9am-5pm: Suit of Swords, Court Cards, Tarot Mastery, Meditation III
Please note, the program can change slightly depending on the speed and progress we make on each day.
Tickets:
Full fee $600 via bank transfer. $100 to register, full payment due a week before the event.
Strictly limited to 8 participants only. Minimum 3 participants for the event to go ahead. All participants will receive the address and details upon registration.
